Psychotherapy (or “therapy”) is a collaborative treatment between a licensed therapist and a client to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. It helps individuals understand their feelings, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being.
Psychotherapy can help improve overall emotional well-being by treating:
– Anxiety & depression
– Trauma (PTSD, abuse)
– Relationship/family conflicts
– Stress & burnout
– Grief & loss
– Self-esteem issues
– Life transitions (career, divorce, etc.)
– And more…
Consider therapy if you:
– Feel overwhelmed, sad, or anxious for an extended period
– Struggle with daily functioning (work, relationships, self-care)
– Repeat unhealthy patterns
– Want personal growth or self-exploration
Sessions typically last 30–60 minutes. Longer sessions can also be scheduled for specialized treatment plans.
This varies based on your goals and needs. Some clients see progress in 6–12 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term therapy. We can discuss a treatment plan during your initial consultation.
– Fees: Individual sessions are $180, couples and family therapy sessions are $200.
– Insurance: Psychotherapy is covered by most insurance providers. Please check with your insurance provider for details of your benefits.
We do not bill insurance companies directly, however you will be provided with an invoice that you can submit for reimbursement.
– Payment: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, E-TRANSFER
