															Shahnawaz has completed a Master’s degree in the Nurse Practitioner program at University of Toronto in 2015, receiving a Schulich Award for academic achievement. His previous education also includes undergraduate programs at University of Waterloo and University of Western Ontario. He continues to teach and direct professional practice courses at the University of Toronto for his Nurse Practitioners colleagues in mental health and addiction. Shahnawaz currently works in private practice where he provides comprehensive assessments, pharmacological treatment, psychotherapy and coaching. He draws from his experience with multiple therapeutuc modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural therapy combined with evidence based psychiatric care to deliver high quality comprehensive support with a human touch.
